As spring begins to bloom, we’d like to take a moment to reflect on the first quarter of 2025, filled with growth, giving back, and exciting new beginnings at Pokoloko. From impactful partnerships to new sustainable collections, we’ve continued to stay true to our mission: connecting makers, collectors, and the earth, in support of our artisan partnerships and environmental impact.

Have a Heart Campaign: Spreading Love on Valentine’s Day
This February we expanded our best selling Have a Heart Collection with a new addition: Have a Heart Socks! With your support, this campaign has raised $500 in donations for Have A Heart Day.
If you’re new to this collection - Have A Heart Day, held annually on February 14th, is a child and youth-led event organized by the First Nations Child & Family Caring Society. They aim to address funding inequities, eliminate discrimination, and ensure First Nations children have access to essential services for their well-being and success.
By purchasing from our HAH collection you can directly contribute to this cause and help raise crucial awareness and support for First Nations children.

International Women’s Day: The Canadian Women’s Foundation
In March, we were grateful to partner with the Canadian Women’s Foundation, Canada’s leading public foundation for gender justice and equality. CWF aims to create a more inclusive and equitable society through helping women, girls, and gender-diverse individuals overcome barriers like gender-based violence, poverty, and discrimination. It’s through grassroots action, community partnerships, and leadership development, that the CWF is driving sustainable change for the better!
Thanks to your support, we were able to raise $1300 in donations to support this cause.

From our continued partnership with a female-led design team in Turkey, we’ve introduced new elegant styles for spring. All of our apparel is designed to move with you, not restrict you, and most importantly make you feel confident. With our new additions, we’ve continued our focus on timeless designs, relaxed silhouettes and high quality fabrics that are good for you and the planet.
New Crinkle styles: staying true to our best selling Crinkle styles, these new pieces are composed with pure Turkish muslin cotton that’s both soft, airy and durable. Spot returning popular styles like the Crinkle Shirt Dress, now in cream and new Pant designs like the Crinkle Skirt Pants!
Cotton-linen blends: introducing our new Grey Plaid collection, that’s beautifully lightweight. The linen-blend makes these pieces highly breathable and temperature-regulating. Sustainably sourced viscose-cotton blends: we’re carrying pastel blues into spring with our new Blue Blend Collection. This unique fabric blend is silky-soft on the skin and drapes elegantly over the body.

We’ve listened to your feedback and are now pleased to welcome a “one-size plus” addition to our much loved Crinkle Palazzo Pants. Consciously crafted with Turkish cotton, we guarantee the same high quality and comfort as our best selling Palazzo’s, but with more versatile features.
At Pokoloko we believe that beauty comes in many shapes and sizes. Everyone should have access to sustainable styles, and we all deserve to feel our best and empowered in what we wear. Community Love: Spreading Awareness for Eco-Friendly Brands
As part of what it means to be a Poko, we believe in the power of community and conscious collaboration. We love partnering with like-minded businesses and local-brands to amplify sustainability beyond fashion.
So far this year, we’ve partnered with Purple Urchin, a fellow Ontario brand that hand-prepares 100% natural, plastic-free soaps and skincare, pampering both skin and then planet. Their eco-friendly formulas prove that small changes to our beauty routines can make a big difference.
We also had an exciting new partnership with Fort Treehouse, a visionary Canadian team that designs consciously crafted treehouse escapes that aim to reconnect people with nature. Through a special giveaway, we helped spread their mission to promote sustainable travel experiences.
Whether it’s skincare, travel, or fashion, we’re committed to using our platform to spread awareness, inspire mindful choices, and prove that sustainability stretches far beyond what we wear!
Poko’s First Bingo Night
To fight the winter blues, the Poko team got together for their first Bingo Night! Taking the time to connect outside of work not only helps us better understand one another but also strengthens our collaboration and growth as a team. We’re excited to continue building on this momentum with more team-building activities in Q2!
