Where does viscose come from?
Viscose is a beautifully versatile fabric that often gets misunderstood as to whether it’s natural or synthetic. Sourced from natural materials, the intricate process to turn those raw materials into the soft, flowy fabric that we love, results in a semi-synthetic textile!
To produce, wood pulp is first extracted from trees. Typically beech, pine and eucalyptus are used, but recently even bamboo. Then through an intricate process, cellulose is gently broken down and revived as silky threads, that can then be woven into a beautifully natural feeling fabric.

Used as an alternative to silk for a reason! Viscose is naturally very soft, and feels luxuriously smooth on the skin. When combined with linen’s natural structure and extra strong fibres, you get the best of both worlds - effortless style and efficiency.

Caring tips
To care for your beautifully blue pieces, opt for hand-washing or machine washing on cold. A cold wash is important in order to maintain the colour and integrity of the fibres. Viscose both retains colour very well and has naturally soft qualities, so avoid the use of any fabric softeners that could interact with the fibres.
Once washed, simply hang to dry! Both linen and viscose can be prone to shrinkage when exposed to warm temperatures for too long and tumble drying can weaken the viscose fibres, impacting their natural softness. Caring for your Blue-Blend collection as recommended, will ensure these pieces stay in tip-top condition, gracing your capsule wardrobe for many years to come!
